E.S.H. Da Vinci

Student Archery for Eindhoven

About Da Vinci

E.S.H. Da Vinci is the student archery club for the Eindhoven region. At Da Vinci, we have always had archers at every level, from beginners, to participants to the Olympic Games. We strive to offer you the option to do whatever you wish in archery, offering both recreational sport, and serious competition.

We've also always offered an introductory course to new archers, to introduce students to the sport. During this course, you can use our material and knowledge for a small fee, granting you the option to get to know the sport.

E.S.H. Da Vinci is registered at the KvK with number 17174167.

Internal competition and activities

At Da Vinci we have the traditional internal ladder competition, which offers a fair competition for all archer types, as well as the Kingshoot, and several thematic matches or activities during the year. These activities are also listed on the Events page.

Naming and branding

We're often asked why our association is named after Leonardo Da Vinci, as he isn't immediately associated with archery. Da Vinci did however have lots of technical knowledge, and more interestingly, also designed some crossbows. Therefore, in this honor, the Vitruvian Man, with an archery based adaptation, is used as the basis for our logo, and his name forms the basis of our club name.
